Air Conditioning Installation for a Private Customer, Eaton Square

Great work by the City Engineering air conditioning installer teams, working with the interior designer and meeting the client’s needs to complete the work on time and budget.

Our brief was to integrate cooling and heating systems into the apartment of a private customer, in Eaton square, while ensuring the systems and pipework had minimal impact on the aesthetics of each room.

The solution was to supply and install a ducted system to be housed behind a false wall and allow a flat-screen television to also be accommodated into the wall. We also supplied and installed floor standing systems that could be housed neatly in a vented box. In addition, we also spent time on ensuring the client was comfortable and enjoyed the atmosphere created by the interior designer.

Thank you to the client for allowing us to publish these images and trusting City Engineering to fulfil your heating and cooling needs.

Excellent job!

Air Conditioning Installation at Headley Spice, Brentwood

Every air condition installation is different, whether it is for a listed building, a complete refurbishment or a new build project, they all present their challenges in local planning restrictions or overcome building infrastructure problems. Many thanks to the City Engineering air conditioning installer teams for working around the timelines of contractors, interior designers, and the client’s needs to complete the work on time and budget.

Our brief was to find an energy-efficient solution to the cooling, heating, and ventilation requirement for the complete refurbishment of the former popular pub, Headley Arms, into a modern Indian restaurant, Headley Spice, while ensuring the systems aesthetically blend into the surroundings.

The solution was to supply and install ten Daikin Compact Cassette and two Fujitsu Ceiling and Wall split AC systems. We provided expert advice regarding which of the many air conditioning systems available would not affect the aesthetic appeal of the surroundings. It was also important to not compromise on the cooling and heating efficiency of the large, open-plan areas when finding air-con systems for the restaurant. The aim was to ensure all customers dining at Headley Spice enjoyed the great food and atmosphere, and we worked hard to provide a system which did not impact this.

Thank you to all the teams involved in the refurbishment at Headley Spice. Good to see the opening party went well and all the best for the continued success of the restaurant.

Great job!

The problem of installing large equipment in a working office during office hours can be challenging but City Engineering’s ability to organise, work cleanly, and keep to timelines helps to minimise any disruption. If we have site access out of hours, this can be an option for some projects; our engineers are committed to meeting our client’s needs and requirements.

“We would like you pass onto your team of people who installed the air conditioning system our congratulations on being so efficient and considerate of us operating a professional office. It was very much appreciated.”
Gorman Seaton & Co – Chartered Certified Accountants & Business Advisers

Gorman Seaton & Co. offices based in central west London, arranged a free site consultation to obtain a quotation for the installation of air conditioning systems in two office spaces. The site audit not only enabled us to calculate a more accurate estimate for the size of air-con systems required but also ensured that space could be heated and cooled during the extreme seasonal temperatures of inner-city buildings or hot days in rural homes. It also enabled us to establish that the building would require permission to access the outside space for the installation of the external condensing units, which we would negotiate the access and time for the client. We were also able to provide impartial advice for the client on the materials needed to achieve the best finish. In this case, the use of white trunking for exposed internal piping allowed us to hide any visible piping and achieve the client's request for maintaining a neat and clean finish in their offices.

Once the quotation was agreed we were able, in two days, to install and commission two Mitsubishi wall mounted heating and cooling split systems into their offices. One 7 K.W split system into their large office area and one 3.5 K. W split system into their smaller office space. The work required less than 15-meter piping work with the outside condenser situated on wall-mounted brackets in the restricted access area. The client wanted a clean finish so all internal piping was covered by 3×3 inches white plastic trunking, to hide exposed piping and maintaining a finish the client expected.

The systems are still regularly maintained by us every year for this customer, which has kept the systems in excellent working condition.

Thank you for your business and feedback Gorman Seaton & Co.
